Academic Tracking
At St. Bricin’s College, we are committed to supporting every student in achieving their full potential. Academic progress is carefully monitored throughout the year through a structured programme of assessment, feedback, and review.
Every 11 weeks, students complete formal assessments across their subjects. Following each assessment period, students receive a Progress Report, which includes:
- Individual subject teacher feedback.
- Tutor feedback on overall engagement and progress.
- Year Head feedback.
- Academic targets and recommendations for improvement.
This regular cycle of assessment and reporting provides meaningful feedback for students and parents while helping staff identify strengths, address areas for improvement, and implement supports where necessary.
Senior students also participate in formal review meetings with school management. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss:
- Academic performance and progress.
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Study habits and organisation.
- Goal setting and future aspirations.
- Strategies for continued improvement and success.
Through ongoing monitoring, feedback, and support, students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and work towards achieving their personal and academic goals.
