Music at St. Bricin’s College
Music is a vibrant part of school life at St. Bricin’s College, where students are encouraged to explore and develop their musical talents in a welcoming and supportive environment. We celebrate a wide variety of musical styles and provide opportunities for all students to get involved, whether they are experienced performers or simply have a love of music.
Our fully equipped Music Room allows students to develop their musical skills both in class and through extracurricular activities, including our popular lunchtime Music Club.
A highlight of the school year is Music Week, a celebration of music across the school featuring daily competitions, live lunchtime performances, and a range of fun, music-themed activities. Music Week provides students with the opportunity to showcase their talents, support their peers, and enjoy music in a fun and engaging way.
Our Traditional Music Group regularly performs at community events and visits the local nursing home throughout the year, sharing music with residents and strengthening connections within the wider community.
The annual Talent Show is another key event on the school calendar, giving students the opportunity to showcase their musical and performance talents in front of the school community.
Through music, students develop creativity, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts, making music an important and enjoyable part of life at St. Bricin’s College.
