Provision Mapping
At St. Bricin’s College, Provision Mapping helps us ensure that every student receives the support they need to achieve their full potential. By monitoring students’ academic, social, emotional, and wellbeing needs, we can identify appropriate interventions and supports at an early stage.
Aim
To identify and coordinate the supports required to meet the individual needs of students and promote positive educational, wellbeing, and personal outcomes.
Implement
Provision Mapping enables teachers, Year Heads, the Student Support Team, and school management to work collaboratively to coordinate supports, including:
- Learning Support and Additional Educational Needs provision
- Literacy and numeracy interventions
- Assistive technology supports
- Guidance Counselling
- Mentoring and wellbeing programmes
- Attendance monitoring and support
- Individual student support plans
Review
Student supports and interventions are monitored and reviewed regularly to ensure they remain effective and responsive to students’ changing needs. This collaborative approach helps ensure that every student is supported to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
